Salah Hamouri, a Palestinian lawyer, deported to France by Israel due to security reasons.

Salah Hamouri, a French-born Palestinian human rights lawyer, was deported from Israel on Sunday after being accused of security offenses, according to a statement from the Israeli interior ministry.

On December 1, Israel terminated Hamouri’s residency because of allegations that he participated in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a group that Israel and its Western supporters consider to be a terrorist organization.

Hamouri’s supporters said the deportation constituted a breach of international law.
